Frequently Asked Questions

1.   What services does A Full Life Agency provide?
A Full Life Agency is able to assist with personal care such as getting up in the morning, bathing, dressing, and medication reminders. Other services include meal preparation, companionship, housekeeping/laundry, transportation services, and respite services for those friends and family members who need a break from providing these same services for a loved one.

Lifeline Emergency Response System is available to those who may not need these services but would like some peace of mind that assistance is available when needed. This product connects to a phone line and includes a waterproof button that is worn around the neck or wrist. If ever there is an emergency, push the button and Lifeline will dispatch the appropriate assistance. Lifeline is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

A Full Life Agency also provides an “After Care” program where assistance and transportation is provided from medical appointments or procedures. This program includes:

u    Transporting from an appointment or procedure
u    Picking up prescriptions
u    Making a meal

"After Care" service is available to anyone. It requires little to no advance notice and includes two hours of care with 15 miles or less of traveling distance included. More miles can be added for a minimal per mile fee. There are no age, financial or medical severity requirements for the “After Care” program.

All of these services listed above are available to people of all ages and varying degrees of need on a short-term or long-term basis. We are able to provide from two hours of service each week to 24 hours a day.

2.   What is the timeline of events to begin receiving services?

The first step to getting your in-home care services started is the assessment process. A caregiver will be assigned to you within 24 hours of approval of services. Approval may include: a signed contract, doctor’s authorization, and/or authorization from your insurance company or Medicaid.

3.   What is the assessment process?

The assessment includes a visit to your home to evaluate your needs and establish a plan of action as well as a schedule to meet those needs. This assessment is a free service to help determine if in-home care is right for you.

4.   How can I be sure that the caregivers are qualified and trustworthy?

A Full Life Agency carefully screens applicants by checking references and requiring a State and Federal level criminal history check.

At the Agency, we also provide and require continued education for all employees to guarantee the highest level of quality services.
